Solar Energy for Rural Infrastructure

Home / Project / Solar Energy for Rural Infrastructure

To cut reliance on unreliable grid electricity and fossil fuels, solar lighting was installed in key rural institutions across PRIDE India projects. The electrification of SPARSH Rural Hospital with solar backup ensured continuous healthcare during outages, lowered costs, and reduced emissions. Through the Ideal Village Programme, nearly 100 villages received solar streetlights, improving safety and reducing their carbon footprint. These solar projects demonstrate the practicality of renewable energy in remote areas.
